Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IntentSearch, the Shopify app provided by IntentSea ("IntentSea", "we", "us"), and related services (the "App"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
1. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App on your Shopify store(s) for your internal business purposes. We retain all rights in the App, its software and its models. You retain all rights in your store data and product catalog.
2. Your account and store
You are responsible for your Shopify store, for having the right to provide your catalog data to us, and for complying with Shopify's terms and applicable laws, including informing your shoppers about the use of search analytics as required. The App accesses your data only as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the App unlawfully, or to infringe the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or reverse engineer the App, or bypass its security or usage limits.
- Do not resell or sublicense the App, or use it to build a competing service.
- Do not send personal data of shoppers (such as names, emails or payment data) through search or event endpoints.
4. Fees
Any fees, trial periods or plans are shown in the Shopify App Store listing and are billed through Shopify. We may change pricing with reasonable notice, effective at your next billing period.
5. Availability and support
We aim to keep the App available and working well, but it is provided without a service level agreement. The App may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Search results are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or complete. 6. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, IntentSea will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the fees you paid for the App in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On uninstall your shop is deactivated and your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms and will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which IntentSea is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer or local law provides otherwise.
