Search for electronics stores
Electronics shoppers may search by product family, manufacturer, model or compatibility. Keep identifiers in product titles, descriptions, vendor, SKU, options or selected metafields where they belong, and verify which fields the current catalogue indexes before relying on them.
Example setup
| Search need | Catalogue field to review | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Narrow to headphones | Product type or collection | Audio |
| Select a maker | Vendor | Northstar Audio |
| Find a model code | SKU or product text | NX-420 |
| Choose connector or storage | Variant option or text metafield | USB-C, 256 GB |
| Exclude unavailable items | Availability filter | In stock |
Names and values above are illustrative only. Do not create compatibility claims by adding broad synonyms: USB-C and Lightning, or two model generations, may be materially different. Review exact-match and alternative queries with a product specialist.
For time-limited launches, scheduled merchandising rules can highlight a known query and product group. Check availability and the end date before scheduling; ordinary search ranking also uses catalogue inventory signals, but this is not a restock forecast. See filters, ranking and missing products.
